Job Description
Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant for a perm role in Duluth, GA. Skills: · Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience · 3-5 years of experience in Accounting · Experience with Software and Consulting organizations is a plus · Experience with QuickBooks and other ERP system like Sage Intacct / NetSuite / Infor · Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS · CPA / CPA track is a plus · Strong Excel skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments · Demonstrated problem solving ability (identify problems and develop / implement solutions) · Ability to take ownership and drive projects / issues to completion. · Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Responsibilities: · Review current accounting procedures and document/ implement process improvements · Assist in development of new processes and procedures to improve month end close and financial reporting · Initiate and post journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, and research & resolve issues as needed · Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close · Supporting the preparation and completion of annual audits and income tax filings · Assist with special projects as needed
